5. Selenite – Purification
If you are new to crystals, selenite is a great place to start. Named after the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene, it has a moon-like glow.
Selenite can be colorless, gray, white, green or golden brown. Unlike other crystals, selenite never needs to be cleansed (amethyst) and can be used to cleanse (rock crystal) and charge other stones.
It is a stone of mental clarity, honesty and truth, making it a wonderful protection stone. It is definitely a great addition to your collection.
