6. Amber – Manifestation
Amber is often considered a gemstone, even though it is not mineralized. Amber is a yellow-orange, translucent stone composed of fossilized tree resin, often with insects or plants embedded in it.
The name Amber comes from the Arabic word anbar, which means “perfume.”
Other than gemstones, amber perfume and amber incense are used by mankind.
The scent of amber is an earthy, warm combination of smoke, leather, and pine.
In ancient Greek mythology, amber is associated with Phaeton. Phaeton was the son of Helios, the sun god.
After Phaeton destroyed Helios’ chariot and died, Phaeton’s sisters, the Heliades, turned into poplar trees that shed tears of amber.
Amber is a beautiful stone and a wonderful companion for stone lovers.
